Skyscanner API Integration for Direct Bookings

We partnered with Skyscanner in 2016 in order to expand exposure and sales reach of your hotel. This ongoing partnership allows BookLogic’s hotel clients to reach a wider market thanks to the fully integrated seamless connection between the two systems. This means that guests can purchase its hotel clients’ room via Skyscanner, but still have their bookings processed on BookLogic’s Booking Engine.


What is Skyscanner and why is it necessary for you?

Skyscanner is an influential platform for hotels which gives you the opportunity to showcase your Hotel facilities to potential customers, both for exact searches (brand related) or general searches in your locality. Since the completion of the Skyscanner API integration, your Skyscanner property profile allows visitors to see your complete Hotel information including pricing, availability alongside with amenities and reviews.

Your profile has also “Go to Site” buttons for each of the providers (OTA’s) with your rooms on offer which will redirect your potential guest directly to the respective website to complete their booking. However, the BookLogic API integration also means that Hotels can have their own property websites included in the pricing results alongside the other third-party websites. This gives Hotels the opportunity to have full ownership of reservation from start to finish, including direct billing and reservation management as you would with a guest who had made a direct reservation on your website.

Skyscanner Hotels offer a CPA program to Hotels which works on commission structure, based on the rates being booked thereby offering Hotels increased exposure which no additional costs.
